My vision for The Colorado Seaplane Initiative was clear from the start: seaplane access should be allowed in Colorado. Since then, we’ve made incredible progress:
- Establishing Colorado’s First Charted Seaplane Bases: We’ve created the first ever seaplane bases in the state.
- Hosting Groundbreaking Splash-In Events: We’ve planned and managed several successful splash-in events, a first for Colorado.
- Launching a Pioneering Invasive Species Program: We initiated Colorado’s first inspection and decontamination program specifically for seaplanes.
- Achieving Historic Pilot Training Milestones: The first pilot to complete all necessary training and certification entirely within Colorado.
Despite these milestones, our journey is far from over. The State remains opposed to seaplane access, and our fight continues. We believe in the power of imagination and creativity to overcome any obstacle. We are committed to leading with innovative solutions and demonstrating the strength and resolve of an idea whose time has truly come. Let’s continue to make history together!
